The Franklin County Lady Lions advanced to the state tournament’s Sweet 16 Thursday with an offensive display rarely – if ever – seen from the team.

The Franklin County Lady Lions swept Monroe Area Saturday to earn a spot in the final four of the Region 8AAA tournament and a berth in the upcoming state playoffs.
