Lorie Terry Public accountant NEW ORLEANS, LA.-Lorie Vivian Terry, 29, died Aug. 12, 2008 from complications of pneumonia. The Athens native was born May 21, 1979 to Dan and Alice Terry and grew up in Royston. She was a certified public accountant, initially working for Ernst and Young in Atlanta, and more recently in Mississippi and New Orleans with the Reznick Group, out of Bethesda, Md., on a Federal Disaster Relief program following Hurricane Katrina. She is survived by her parents of Lavonia; twin sister, Jaime Terry, Royston; sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Dave Cohen, and niece, Hannah Cohen, all of Atlanta; and grandmother, Vivian Granade Wickersham, Washington. A memorial service was held Aug. 23, 2008 at Royston First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Malcolm Paterson. Memorials may be made to her alma mater, Oglethorpe University, Chi Omega Scholarship Fund; the First United Methodist Church of Royston; or the Humane Society.
